I am a highly-seasoned English instructor (6-7 years of experience) who specializes in teaching/ tutoring at the high-school level (grades 9 to 12).
 
I employ a unique and fresh approach to teaching. Students find me highly engaging and informative - and I develop an instant rapport with them. Although I enjoy every aspect of teaching at the high school level, I especially enjoy assisting students with the critical analysis of literary texts, and providing intensive coaching in the craft of essay-writing.
 
I achieved a 3.25 GPA in my studies of English and Sociology (majors), and Professional Writing and Communication (minor) at the University of Toronto. I also took a handful of philosophy courses while there.
