Hi there,

My name is Igor Kratovic and I am now accepting new students for 2012. I studied under Prof. Marina Mdivani in Montreal and earned a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Piano Performance from McGill's Schulich School of Music. Prof. Mdivani was the principal soloist with the Moscow Philharmonic for over 20 years, winner of the Long-Thibaud Piano Competition in 1963 and fourth place winner of the legendary Tchaikovsky Competition in 1962. She herself was also one of the only students of the great Emil Gilels. I am very well versed in all styles of classical repertoire as well as music theory and formal/harmonic analysis and I can cater to students who have only a passing interest in music and those that wish to pursue more regimented lesson plans to prepare for RCM examinations (theory and practical), competitions and auditions.

I can accommodate any level of pianistic ability and have experience teaching all ages. I am also available to give lessons at students' houses. Due to plans to open a music school at the end of 2012, I am offering promotional rates for new incoming students.
