 I am excited to be the first in the Durham region to offer COLD fusion hair extensions! Let me explain the process of both a little more for those of you who may be new to the extension experience.

 First of all I specialize in the fusion method, because I believe it is the safest, most undetectable , healthy hair extension application on the market! Cold fusion hair extension is a new technique of attaching hair extensions. The method is more popular because of its advantages over the hot fusion method. Cold fusion hair extensions use a keratin based polymer to attach the hair extensions to your root. This polymer is flexible in nature and hence, the hair extensions do not become stiff and do not look unnatural. One more advantage of cold fusion hair extensions when compared to hot fusion hair extensions is, that the hair extensions last longer with this method. Ultrasound waves are used in cold fusion hair extensions. These waves are converted into mechanical energy and the vibration generated due to this conversion is applied to the root area, where the keratin tip meets the natural hair. This forms a strong bond between the natural hair and the hair extension. The bond formed is invisible strong bond and does not cause any scalp damage. Hot Fusion is much the same and has been the method I have used for the last 3 years the only major differences is I would use heat to bond the keratin to your root, and it has been known to last a shorter time period, but still can achieve a great look for months. (From my experience, as long as applied properly both have very little damage causing effects but even more so this is true with the cold fusion)
