You would support the Store Manager in all aspects of the business including:
Creating a positive and energetic work environment.
Handle multiple tasks and ensure completion in a timely manner.
Responsible for opening the store for business as well as closing with completion of nightly bank deposits.
Achieve daily/weekly/monthly targeted sales and wage plans.
Maximize store sales by ensuring proper visual display of merchandise, markdown execution and promotions are in compliance with Head Office directives.
Train and develop the sales associates to achieve the highest level of sales and provide excellent customer service.
Review employee performance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Encourage improvement when necessary.
Communicate direction and delegate tasks when necessary to ensure daily/weekly deadlines are met in a timely manner.

To qualify for the Assistant Manager position you must posses an open availability which includes a willingness to work varied shifts throughout the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays as per the needs of the business. You must also posses knowledge of the fashion industry, products and current trends. As well as have one or more years experience in related retail management.
