Personal Defense Readiness or PDR and the S.P.E.A.R. system is the program now being taught around the world to a select few police departments and soldiers who make their living protecting others. Now PDR training is available in the GTA. A certified PDR instructor, also an Internationally recognized 2nd Dan Black belt in Karate, is now offering training to clients who take theirs or their loved ones safety seriously. This 3 dimensional system addresses the issues before the conflict, during and after. We'll teach you how to AVOID a conflict or END ONE, regardless of age, size or gender. 'With Exposure, Comes Composure" Violence is NOT the only option in this program. Each class will include: An introduction to the S.P.E.A.R. system, Be Your Own Body Guard Principles, What “Bad Guys” want, Defusing Situation Skills, Non Violent Postures and Traditional Self-Defense Tactics. Avoid when possible, PREVAIL when pushed! Our Annual fall class is Saturday Sept. 17th / 2011 1pm to 5pm Pickering Village United Church (in the gym) 300 Church Street, Ajax.
